Democratic National Convention Predictions

What will happen at this summer’s Democratic National Convention? And what is the answer to my earlier post featuring the headline “Can Bernie Win?”. Here’s one answer for both questions: the Democratic nomination still goes Hillary Clinton, who will have more superdelegates. However, there are reasons why Bernie’s candidacy continuing through the convention will make a momentous difference. But we’ll get to that in a moment.

On channeling forward in time to the week of the Democratic National Convention, I see Hillary in the spotlight, giving a victory speech. She is being surrounded by supporters and reporters. The overall tone inside the convention itself is calm and civil (if tense under the surface) and there are many flowers displayed in this location. Bernie appears to be genuinely happy for her, as he has let go of his original plans and is resigned to the outcome. He quickly agrees to work with Hillary. Media pundits will frequently want to know his advice on what direction to take the party. I see him standing by Hillary and having enough humility and flexibility to fulfil a different role than what he had originally intended. He will continue to push for the same proposals he’s supported during his candidacy whenever there is an opportunity. Bernie and Hillary coordinate an agreed-upon plan necessary to secure a Democratic win in November.

Tarot Card Reading for Democratic Running Mate

When gathering psychic news, it has been my channeling technique up to this point to use a form of hypnosis which is similar to past life regression but is directed into the future rather than the past. The way readings work best for me is by channeling, but sometimes I will add tarot cards later in the reading to see if additional information presents itself. It occurs to me now that we can shuffle the cards and add tarot readings to our Psychic News Network forecasts. Once I’d finished channeling for this post and writing out what I saw, I pulled some tarot cards to ask about more details about a running mate for the Democratic nomination.

The Problems & Solutions Tarot Spread I created consists of three aspects (mental,physical, and spiritual) of two phases (learning a lesson and applying what has been learned), plus an eventual outcome.

Question: How will the Democratic running mate be chosen?

The Problem (Wisdom to be Gained from Challenges)

Mental-Six of Swords (Winter)-The need to let go of a short-term dream for the greater outcome of a long-term benefit. Original plans must be changed to remain competitive in the race.

Physical-Queen of Pentacles (Autumn)- A mature woman with financial power.

Spiritual-Seven of Swords (Winter)-The futility of doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. A warning to break a cycle of tradition that no longer serves you. The querent (and we are asking about the Democratic nominee) faces a similar restriction to what has been experienced in a previous election. She is being given a chance to make a different choice.

The Solution (How to Overcome Obstacles)

Mental-Six of Cups (Summer)- An ally or friend. Someone you’ve known from the past who is coming back into your life. A nostalgic reunion. This choice is based on mental strategy, and would be someone familiar who has a friendly connection to the Querent, likely they have worked together. 

Physical-Ten of Pentacles (Autumn)-Tremendous wealth. There will be an increase in campaign donations related to the alliance between Hillary and her chosen running mate.

Spiritual-Four of Wands (Spring)-A harmonious, gratifying business partnership. The differences in each partner create a balance. Four of Wands can also indicate marriage, so the querent’s partner (in this case, Bill) would influence the outcome. Querent and running mate will work well together. 

Outcome

Herald of Wands (Spring)- A lively messenger and communicator who can help someone in their career. Someone who has a youthful, idealistic outlook in professional matters. A catalyst who inspires change. This card represents Hillary’s running mate.

Conclusion: An older woman with influence in practical matters coupled with financial power (Queen of Pentacles) must abandon previous plans (Six of Swords). The unavoidable change could refer to instability and upheaval that will occur in the upcoming race for the elections. The instability is not indicated by a card, but will reveal itself this summer when Trump is accused of being unqualified for the candidacy-although he will fight back, in court if necessary. More on this later.

Once a clear sign of needed change is recognised by the Queen of Pentacles, a friendly colleague who has worked with her before (Six of Cups), possibly in the Senate, offers prosperity (Ten of Pentacles) and will bring messages of harmony (Herald of Wands) that moves both careers forward in a satisfying business partnership (Four of Wands). This alliance of candidate and running mate must be unconventional in an unprecedented way in order to succeed.

In the reading above, the outcome is a Cups card. Pages (or Heralds) can be interpreted as male or female and indicates someone with light brown hair and light eyes. Cups indicate a water sign. Elizabeth Warren was born on June 22nd, meaning her Sun is Cancer-a water sign. Cancer is also the sign that shows up under most planets in her natal chart.

Most Funds Raised in the History of U.S. Presidential Campaigns

Sometimes the season can indicate both a quarterly time of the year and a theme. For instance, our Democratic VP reading indicates that by autumn, this alliance will become financially successful due to additional fundraising (as demonstrated by Pentacles, which also points to the Earth sign of autumn, Virgo, meaning financial luck could take place between August 23-September 22). Financial luck coming from a Virgo or at the time of Virgo could indicate that Bernie (born on September 8th, a Virgo) would be willing to serve as a financial advisor to Hillary throughout her post-Convention campaign. He also has his North Node (indicating destiny), in Virgo, a sign of service-and this calling will be successful as long as the service doesn’t require a sacrifice.

By the way, it looks like the grand total of both the Democratic and Republican nominees’ campaign costs will amount to more than has ever been raised in the history of U.S. presidential campaigns. On a similar note, the presence of two adjacent Pentacles cards next to a person/career card (Herald of Wands) indicates that Hillary’s choice for a running mate will come down to financial considerations, such as a running mate’s access to fundraising resources.

Protests Outside the Democratic National Convention

Outside the convention, I see protests opposing superdelegates and calling for campaign finance reform. The chief underlying theme of these protests is scrutiny over financial inequality. There will also be protestors protesting the protestors. Unity prevails over discord, and any factionalism in the GOP will be a weak point in moving toward the general elections–as long as the Democratic Party maintains an atmosphere of consonance and friendship amongst themselves. In my meditation I see an image of a dog in November, one with yellow hair. This image may represent a dominant aspect of how Trump will soon be portrayed in the media. Trump will be accused of an illegal activity that threatens to jeopardise his candidacy. I am also seeing accusations against him that will result in people shouting “thief!” toward Trump from crowds. One of the scandals he’s connected to may have involved taking advantage of those who are destitute and/or desperate for his own monetary gain.

He will feel unjustly incriminated by a small group of politicians who don’t want to see him win the election. Yes, some high-ranking officials who had formerly disparaged Trump’s candidacy are now endorsing his nomination. And the RNC is almost going out of its way to promote Trump, but be aware that they are overdoing it to make it look as if they are being supportive of his candidacy and so that no one suspects the opposite (and actual) agenda. There are other plans to demolish his campaign from various fronts, but party officials do not want to be blamed by his followers or have them leave the party when Trump is attacked. Although Trump will undoubtedly be targeted, sometimes for real reasons, but at other times with exaggerated stories designed to humiliate him, these politicians use law rather than force to attempt to remove Trump from his position as nominee. That way, even if the accusations are traced back to Republican party officials, they can avoid protests from his supporters that would only further advance Trump’s image as a Washington outsider, thereby accelerating the success of his campaign. But everything won’t go as planned and the efforts of Republican politicians and party officials to block Trump will be met with multiple obstacles. Tarot Card Pick for Democratic Convention: The Empress

The Empress card as either a significator or predictive card can represent a female leader or politician.

I also pulled a tarot card for more information about who will prevail at the Democratic National Convention and was shown The Empress, who represents a woman and a mother. An empress is also a female leader or ruler. The convention will represent a triumph for women in many ways, and it’s no mistake that Hillary’s opponent has been cast as a notorious misogynist. Trump is not doing this on his own; it was planned for him to run in order to sway the general elections in Clinton’s favour. He’s enjoying the power, the attention, the free advertising, and the potential for future compensation in the form of interviews and opportunities for more roles. All things reality TV stars hope for when they’re shooting pilots! Trump is, after all, an actor playing his most challenging reality TV role yet in what could be the largest invisible theatre show to have ever existed.

Cards can also indicate certain seasons based on suits (each suit represents a season) or a certain month based on the card’s sun sign equivalent. The Empress is ruled by the maternal sun sign of Cancer, which is in its home from June 21-July 22: the time during which the Republican National Convention will be held. The Democratic convention is the following week, though, which means Hillary’s running mate will be significantly featured in breaking news the week of the Republican convention.

Unity & Tension at the Democratic National Convention

There is also a large group participating in the elections with write-ins. But Bernie will make it clear to his followers that to support the Democratic Party is to support him, and that a vote for Hillary is a vote for him. And he will speak up early on, the night of the convention, and again, many times between the convention and the general elections. As long as Hillary continues to support the majority of Bernie’s proposed economic platforms that he feels will be beneficial to the public, he will agree to campaign with her. With Hillary’s superdelegates, Bernie’s enthusiastic supporters, and their combined political experience, it will be a stronger team. But neither of them can do it alone. That’s one of the most crucial short-term reasons why it’s providential that Bernie can continue his campaign: so that he will be taken seriously enough to be asked to join forces in the general elections, which will be ultimately beneficial. Perhaps it’s not any coincidence (in a spiritual sense) that his upcoming winning streak will to be at about the same time Hillary is being pressured to choose her cabinet (as I’ve mentioned before, she’s had him in mind for Secretary of Treasury for some time). With Bernie supporting and eventually endorsing her, the hope of economic egalitarianism and a return of the middle class will be infused into her campaign. While Julian Castro is what she’s had in mind as the preferred candidate for some time, and while Julian Castro will still have a place in Clinton’s cabinet, her strategy has changed based on two primary considerations. 1) Trump has alienated many Latino voters, thus making his heritage less of a discussion, and 2) Trump is the presumptive nominee, bringing the stakes higher and calling for a Democratic running mate with a longer record of experience and popularity.

Changes in Future Presidential Elections

So how will Bernie’s present candidacy make a difference? First of all, expect to see an end to closed primaries within a couple of election cycles. Bernie will change this, and the issue of open vs. closed primaries wouldn’t have received attention anytime soon without him staying in the race. Superdelegates get scrapped and will no longer be in play eight years from now. The abolition of superdelegates can only happen if his campaign continues through the convention and we get to see how a nomination has the potential to be chosen by superdelegates alone–despite a significant voter turnout.

By taking donations in smaller increments from public supporters, Bernie’s campaign has also demonstrated a different way of measuring a candidate’s popularity outside of voting and polls. Although it looks like it will be no small task to get this change enacted through legislation, campaign finance reform will soon be underway, as it’s probably never been clearer that the cost of running for office has become unnecessarily formidable and therefore unattainable for most potential candidates. As campaign finance reform gets underway, we will recognise that we have been missing out on great political talents who clearly have a calling for office but no access to opportunity under the current system. Not everyone is a gifted fundraiser, and many aspiring politicians with considerable abilities who we haven’t heard about yet weren’t born into privilege…therefore we will soon be hearing discussions in the news about newly emerging candidates in future elections who provide evidence that we’ve been missing out on vast civic resources under the current system.
