Expect to see shower curtain liners with moving images, such as rain, snow, beaches, river streams surrounded by fields of flowers in the summer, flickering candles in an autumn forest, or even a camping ground of firewood by a tiny lake in the Swiss Alps with castle views. Along with the natural experience of being outdoors during your bath or shower, these moving images called “Movie Curtains” will coincide with a soundtrack featuring nature sounds. Eventually the bath time cinema will be programmed to change from one natural setting to another with a waterproof remote, and, later, by voice activation. Eventually the images will be projected onto surrounding walls with 360 degree views.

Baths that are shaped to look like a naturally occurring stone, crystal, or tiny lake, along with lights featuring dimmers, will also become popular, reflecting an emerging trend of homes transforming into meditation retreats. “Movie Curtains” will be developed later this year and will be made available for public sale by 2017-2018.
